Extremely non-professional service. Took them 48 hours to setup my VPS. Also had to create a support ticket. And when it was finally delivered, there was no DirectAdmin on it. Specially disturbing, since I actually paid for a monthly license.

Not to mention that their responses are very vague. They claim to apply the promotions (triple disk space, double bandwidth) 24 hours after they setup the VPS. I have no idea why they do that.

Moreover, they have false advertising on their VPS page (Instant Activation..where it should read 'We don't activate your VPS unless you create a support ticket).

A speedtest from the VPS showed that the VPS is capable of bursting to a maximum of 10mbps, while average speed is barely 2mbps.

Stay away from these guys. They're potential scammers. They WILL scam.. sooner or later.

I guess i spoke to soon (read my review - 16 Jan 09). I had a terrible problem with boxvps. They shifted servers without any prior notice to another colo and on wed feb 25th morning i found that my server was not accessible. I had to frantically call Justin Shipley on his mobile number and he mentioned that while transferring the servers to another colocation they forgot my server. It took them 72 hours to bring my server back up and i had to make numerous phone calls and support tickets. After the machine was fixed on 28th Feb the DNS for the machine was still not fixed by them. To this day (mar 13th i still get dns resolution failures). I guess justin's firm was good for 2 years earlier but after this incidence i'm certainly extremely scared of their reliability and support.

I have been with BoxVps for while now.there is not much to say but WOW! support team to get things done in the right manner fast and done,i recommend boxVPS.com.
